Jeffrey C. Poole, MD - Account Suspended

I had a neck lift two years ago but it didn't help the sun damage skin on the neck. My plastic surgeon did an excellent job. But I was still not happy with the texture of my skin and the color didn't match my face. I am one of those girls who was a fanatic about the sunscreen on the face and somewhat negligent with my neck. I saw Dr. Jeffrey Poole in Metairie, La and I was so impressed with his credentials. I was nervous about having a laser on my neck. I met with Sabrina first (who is wonderful) and we discussed my situation. I met Dr. Poole and he explained to me the neck is a slower process than the face because of the risks associated with using the fractionated CO2 on the neck. So I decided to do it.

It is now March 14, and I was looking in the mirror and what a difference!!! His right hand person, Sabrina, led me through the process of healing; which by the way, was easier than I thought it would be. Followed her instructions faithfully and it went off without a hitch. I have two more laser treatments to go. I am excited to see the end results. Sorry I did not take any pictures. But I thought I would share my results and experience with Dr. Poole and his staff. I hope this will help anyone contemplating a laser procedure. It took me a long time to find someone that I trusted.

I'm in my mid-40s and started having redness on my face and areas of brown pigmentation that were getting darker. My husband started to notice and then that's all I could see in the mirror - discoloration. My doctor recommended V-Beam laser treatment for the redness. After 3 treatments, each approx. 1 month apart, there is noticeable difference. The discoloration has become much lighter and it's no longer all I see when I look in the mirror without makeup. I'll probably have one more treatment because I can still see some redness, although I doubt it's noticeable anymore to anyone else. I'm pleased with the results. (I will note the laser treatment is very uncomfortable and causes significant swelling for approx. 3 days - but it's worth it!) As for the brown pigmentation, my doctor gave me some bleaching cream, which I've been using now for about 2 months, that is slowly lightening the areas.

After years of rashes, I was finally told that I had to stop shaving my legs. Are you kidding? I live in Louisiana in 2012! First I tried waxing, but that caused a rash too. I'm a girly girl who loves to wear dresses, so what could I do?
I have had 4 laser hair removal treatments on my calves at $1,000 each over the last 4 years. Each time the hair has grown back thinner. I'm hoping I won't have to do this again because of the cost.

I was very pleased with my experience at Poole Dermatology..... It was my first time getting Botox and I was a bit concerned that my face would look "frozen." After about a week or so my results had set in and I LOVE the outcome. My wrinkles are gone but I still have plenty of expression. Perfect!

From the time I made my appointment, to the time I finished my appointment, my visit at Poole Derm was the greatest! They have changed my life and I am currently acne free with flawless skin. I would recommend the practice to anyone with any type of stubborn skin conditions. My only regret is not knowing about Poole Derm sooner. Love 1st sight!!!

Someone from Dr. Poole's team did my laser hair removal and I was badly burned. I did not tan and have had laser hair removal done many times over the years. I moved so I had to use another Dr./PA. I never had any issue in the past. I saw 3 Dr.'s after this because I was so upset and worried my pigment would not return. It did thankfully but took almost a year! I learned from these physician's that these machines get out of calibration easily and need to checked/evaluated often. They said it was not my fault. I did my due diligence and went to a Dr. not a beauty salon or even a medispa. I am grateful everything returned to normal after a very long time but disappointed about how this was handled.
