14 days ago I had (16 year old) saline implants removed with an enbloc capsulectomy. I had an anchor lift, and fat grafting. I am very happy with the small size and overall results, but there is puckering where the drain had been on one side. Does this puckering look abnormal? Is it likely I will need a revision?

Answer: Puckering at drain site Thank you for submitting your questions and photos! The puckering you are describing should correct itself over the next few weeks to months. Once you are more healed, your plastic surgeon can also teach you scar massage techniques and topicals that will help speed up the flattening out process of the scar. Congratulations on your surgery, good luck with the rest of your recovery, and thanks again for your inquiry.

Answer: Puckering of the skin after surgery I agree with the other surgeons. The swelling to your breasts and the scars will change considerably in the next several weeks to months. Your surgeon will likely recommend scar massage once the scars have healed enough. That should help to smooth out any residual puckering. If you have any questions or concerns you should try to see your surgeon for guidance
