I had enbloc and fat transfer to breast 9 weeks ago, my left size is bigger then the right zise, is this normal? Will they keep changing? What can i do ?
Answer: Breasts not same size after en bloc and fat transfer, normal? 9 weeks post op. Hello! Thank you for your question! Typically an en bloc capsulectomy will remove the entire capsule including the implant in total as one. All breast tissue would be left in place. Allow adequate time for the breasts to settle and swelling to resolve. If asymmetry is present afterwards, it was likely present prior. Perhaps the muscle may be larger or less atrophy over the years on the larger side. The asymmetry is not likely due to the capsulectomy and often times not addressed unless a lift and/or fat grafting procedure is performed at the same time, which is not very common. However, techniques such as those aforementioned, may be done at a later date to improve concavities, rejuvenate the breasts, or correct nipple and/or breast asymmetry. Hope that this helps! Best wishes!

Answer: Asymmetry Without an exam and more information regarding your procedure it is difficult to give a reason for the asymmetry. It is not uncommon for the transferred fat to "take" differently in each breast. Sometimes touch ups are needed to help even out the look. I recommend returning to your surgeon for an exam and to discuss your results thus far.

Answer: One Breast Fuller Than the Other After Fat Injections Hello, Carsanr! The best thing to do is to be patient and realize that it takes time for the fat to settle in. After about 4 months your swelling should have gone down some, at that time have your PS exam your breast, at that time additional fat may be injected into the smaller side. Please remember that multiply injections may be required to achieve your desired fullness. Thank you!
