The Sculptra Butt Lift is a relatively new procedure. Patients who don't want surgery or don't want the risks associated with BBL or implants who are open to modest yet noticeable results are ideal candidates.I think as this procedure gains popularity especially with an increased awareness of some of the risks including death from BBL more and more core doctors will begin offering this procedure.Another reason why physicians don't offer Sculptra Butt Lifts is that they are not accustomed to discounting Sculptra to the degree that is needed to make this procedure affordable. Most patients will require at least 10 vials per treatment session with most needing two treatments. I have found that by training Core physicians in the northeast both on the proper technique and on how to make it affordable for patients that there will be more availability in doctors offering Sculptra Butt Lifts. I am sure the same is happening in the West Coast. Good luck in your search.
Thank you for your question. I am attaching a link to the american society of plastic surgeons website that will allow you to search for board-certified plastic surgeons in your area. It will give you a list of physicians based on their distance from your location. Hope that this helps.
This area needs numerous vials over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. Don't let distance dissuade you. I recommend seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, thank you for the question! My name is Dr. Usha Rajagopal and our practice in San Francisco offers Sculptra Butt Lifts. Sculptra Butt Lift is a revolutionary non-surgical alternative to a traditional butt lift or Brazilian butt lift. This treatment involves use of Sculptra injections at targeted areas in under the skin. This thickens the skin and stimulates deep collagen growth, resulting in a firmer feeling and and more voluptuous buttocks. To determine if you are a good candidate for this lift, schedule a consultation with Dr. Usha Rajagopal at our San Francisco location at 415-392-3333.
Sculptra Butt Lifts are an option for those patients who don't have fat to transfer and for those which can't afford prolonged downtime. I do up to 8-10 vials per session and recommend 2-4 sessions. It will give several years of improvement because the collagen created is long lasting. The 2 year "duration of Sculptra" is only what it is approved for. The study was a 25 month study and it showed minimal decrement of the correction at that time. Newly formed collagen lasts for 7 years. The duration in the buttocks might not be that long but it will be much longer than 2 years. Touch ups can be done if needed. I use cannulas for this which makes the procedure quick, nearly painless, and allows most corrections to be done from one insertion site on each side. Dr. Rajani does this in Oregon and I do this in Florida.
