I don't have enough body fat for a bbl and read that some surgeons are doing this in the US. Also could sculptra be used on the legs to fill in uneven fat and cellulite?

Sculptra is a wonderful alternative for surgical BBL and buttock implants.  Results are predictable and last beyond two years after two treatments. Cellulite is caused by fibrous bands pulling in the skin which becomes more visible as the skin thins out with age.  Sculptra will plump up the skin reducing the appearance of the cellulite.  It should be reconstituted in a more dilute fashion vs. butt lift injections to avoid papules and nodules.  Cellulaze laser procedure can be performed to cut the bands, melt excess fat and thicken the dermis and will add to the Sculptra results.

We perform Sculptra butt lifts at our Vancouver BC Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa Clinic. Sculptra is a long lasting Filler alternative that is used more and more for Body Contour augmentation. The procedure is done with Topical anesthetic  and takes about 45 minutes. its hard to know how long the results will last but we expect a year or two to be typical. There is really no Downtime from the treatment so its often appealing in comparison to Fat augmentation. The other reason it is becoming more popular is that many patients simply don't have the fat elsewhere to harvest so Sculptra can be a reasonable alternative. I find sculptra works great for buttock shaping and cellulite. The results will last for several years with occasional touch-ups. Sculptra can be used on the legs and when combined with Cellfina and body treatments like Exilis Ultra/Venus Legacy, Cellutone/z wave can give improvement to cellulite. Don't let distance dissuade you. I suggest seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation.  Best, Dr. Emer.
