Hi! I had a virtual consult today and I was quoted $5,900 for 360 lipo. I asked if the flanks were considered one area and the surgeon told me it was considered two. I’ve read that it was considered one area. Which is true? And also, is $5,900 a good price for 360 lipo in the Los Angeles area? Any other surgeons in the Los Angeles area that does virtual consults?
Answer: Liposuction 360 Great question! Generally, in my practice, the flanks are considered 1 area. The lower back will be considered a second area. The terminology I don't think is as important as knowing what you are getting. If you are doing lipo 360, it should just be the entire torso, irregardless of the number of "areas". The price will depend on what area of Los Angeles you are in as well, and differ from surgeon to surgeon. Most surgeons, including myself, do perform virtual consultations so it is best for you to consult with a few surgeons and see who you feel the most comfortable with.Best of luck and hope this information helps!Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsai

It is VERY important to have clear communication with your surgeon to make sure that you understand exactly what areas are included in your procedure. However some surgeons call the left and right lower back “posterior flanks”, and this would be a second area, compared to the flanks regions just lateral to your tummy area. Also while cost is important, it should not be your only deciding factor. Be certain To consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to greatly increase your chances for the best possible result.
