Are wrinkles, tummy shape irregularities, and lumps after liposuction normal after almost 9 to 10 weeks? (photos)

Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, it appears that you had excess skin on your abdomen before doing liposution.  The ideal liposuction candidate has localized fat deposits and quality overlying skin without significant excess skin or skin damage.  You appear to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck. Tummy tuck, also know as abdominoplasty, is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen and to restore the weakened abdominal wall, giving a firmer and smoother appearance.  

Liposuction is not a skin-smoothing or skin tightening procedure. With the removal of fat, there is always  a risk of loose, wrinkled skin and contour irregularities. Some can be quite noticeable when there is scar tissue and lumps of firmness in the area. Scar tissue lumps are common for 6 months. They can improve with the passage of time and massage may help. Be patient for now and wait 6-12 months for improvement. Other things can be done after that time if it doesn't get better.

Loose skin after liposuction is not uncommon, especially with a significant amount of fats removed. However, depending on the skin elasticity, in many cases, the loose skin tightens over time as the body fully heals. The best course of action is to wait for around 6 months before considering any other procedures. Your surgeon would be the best resource of information at this point in time as he/she knows your condition best.

Yes they are, you are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, lumps and discomfort are very normal.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

I'm sorry to hear about your issues following your recent liposuction.  I always warn my patients that the final result will not be evident until around the 6 month mark, so you still have some time to go for the tissues to settle.
That said, looking at the pictures of your abdomen I think an abdominoplasty would have better suited you.  Obtaining a good result from liposuction depends on the quality of the skin.  If the skin has lost much of its elasticity then it will not tighten following liposuction and you will be left with deflated skin.
Go back to your PS and explain your concerns.

Often after liposuction some of the fat left behind can die off, going hard in the process - this is known as fat necrosis. This usually settle s with time as the fat breaks down and the breakdown products get reabsorbed by the body. Occasionally however the necroses fat can calcify and remain with a permanent hardening - you should try firm massage of the areas daily for several weeks or months to see if this helps settle it down/improve it.
Regarding your skin wrinkles, I am not sure what you looked luike before liposuction and how much fat was removed, however if you have had excess fat for a number of years then the skin is less likely to retract back, inevitably leaving you with some redundant loose skin. Looking at your lower abdomen, this may improve a little, as you are only 9 weeks post-liposuction, however I suspect that you will remain with some loose skin there. This would likely benefit from removal via a mini tummy tuck. 
I would advise that you discuss this fully with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Hello, thanks for your question and photo. The inflammation process is long. You are still in the early stage of healing so you are still swollen, it takes around 6 months or more to see final results. I suggest that you keep using your garment and lymphatic drainage post surgery massages on the area will help you. Be patient and consult with your surgeon any doubts!! Good Luck

on your recent procedure...The procedure of liposuction is an
"insult" to the soft tissues, resulting in swelling which will
initially totally obscure the operative result. Initial lumpiness represents areas of increased inflammation. This will subside over time. 
The
purpose of a compression garment is to prevent bleeding and to control
swelling. We usually recommend its use for the first 4-6 weeks after the
procedure. We often employ lymphatic drainage, as well as ultrasound and radiofrequency energy treatments to hasten swelling resolution in stubborn areas, especially around the belly button.
60-80%
of the swelling should subside within the first 6 weeks, with the remainder
slowly subsiding over 6-12 months. Further improvement should still be noted over time. 
After healing is complete, you can ascertain if you wish a more aggressive tummy tuck to address your lax skin issues.
Continue
followup care with your plastic surgeon.
