Does Vanquish permanently remove fat and how long do the results last?

Vanquish heats and kills stubborn fat cells around the waist and abdomen using radiofrequency (RF) energy. While it will heat the fat cells up to 120 degrees, it does not adversely affect the skin, organs or other surrounding tissues. You may feel a warm sensation during your treatment, which lasts about 30 to 45 minutes per area.
We generally recommend you get about 4 treatments — one per week for a month. You should lose anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of fat around your waistline or abdomen. Vanquish treatments destroy fat similar to  liposuction but on a less aggressive fashion.    Once the fat is destroyed like liposuction it is gone forever.      If you gain a lot of weight, you can still look obese.
