Hello, I am considering either Vanquish or Sculpsure. Which is better in terms of results? Vanquish seems to be more expensive than Sculpsure in the UK. Alternatively, is there a doctor in the UK who provides training and is looking for a live training model to demonstrate either procedure? If so, I'm willing to participate and, in exchange, pay a fraction of the cost. You must be located within the M25 or just outside as I don't drive and I will have to travel by train. Karine
Answer: Sculpsure versus Vanquish--Coolsculpting, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER HI DEF Both Vanquish and Sculpsure are good for removing stubborn areas of fat, but need a combination approach to get the most improvement. I recommend combining Vanquish with Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. Don't let distance dissuade you, see an expert for a formal evaluation. Be sure to request Vanquish ME which is the newest and Maximal Energy device. I have personally had both SculpSure and Vanquish treatments and thought the Vanquish was more comfortable and effective. When Sculpsure first came out it was touted as a one treatment regimen but now most centers are realizing that it takes more than one sesion which also increases the price a lot. Vanquish is quoted as as 4 to 6 treatment sessions and is more economic than SculpSure especially for someone with a lot of bulk to lose.

Answer: Vanquish and Sculpsure Both Vanquish and Sculpsure permanently destroy fat cells. Vanquish ME requires a series of 4-6 weekly painless treatments to destroy fat cells in the range of 60-70%. Sculpsure treatments are performed every 6-8 weeks with each treatment destroying up to 24% of fat cells each time. Both utilize heat to destroy fat cells. Sculpsure can be especially useful when targeting specific bulges for contouring. We often combine procedures to get the best results. We might hit specific areas with Sculpsure and use Vanquish for overall girth reduction. Both devices can be used around the midsection, thighs and arms with Sculpsure having a bit more targeted specificity. We are also using Coolsculpting with Vanquish, Sculpsure or Exilis Ultra as a "Fire and Ice" approach for optimal body contouring. These procedures are great when you don't wish to have much recovery time or undergo liposuction. We also perform Vaser liposuction for those who don't mind wearing a compressive garment for a few weeks and sometimes combine it with ThermiRF to gain better skin tightening.
