I just finished my 6th VanquishME and Cellutone treatment with no change in waist circumstance. I measure 34" across my belly button and was told to expect a 2-3inch reduction. I get a 45 min treatment on the front and 30-45 min on the back for the flanks. I understand that full results are not seen for a few weeks after The 4th treatment, but I am seeing nothing after 7 weeks. I am alway well hydrated before my treatments and I am told I am "toning well". Why isn't this working for me?
Answer: Vanquish Thank you for your question, we have had Vanquish ME in our practice for years and have seen varying results. We are very selective with the patients we treat and tend to stick with younger patients who have fat that can be easily pinched. I would give yourself more time and continue to follow up with your provider. Hope this helps.

Answer: Vanquish Results There are a few things I always suggest to help produce the best results - stay well hydrated, exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet, and compliment your Vanquish treatments with another treatment, like the Exilis Ultra. That being said, treatment results with the Vanquish may vary. Wish you the best of luck!

Answer: Vanquish Facts about Results--Add Coolsculpting, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra This is difficult to answer without pictures. I recommend combining Vanquish with Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Vanquish The results of Vanquish, like many other devices, is operator dependent. We were fortunate to test and use Vanquish 6 months before it became available on the US market. The initially proposed protocol was very problematic due to many issues including duration, intensity, use of spacer, airflow, radio-frequency losses, cable screening etc. The optimal conditions can be achieved particularly if one follows the physics involved in this device as well as physiological response to thermal injury. Our protocol involves a combination of 2 radio-frequency devices: Exilis and Vanquish. The treatment times are at least 2 times longer, both devices energy level is set at maximum throughout the entire treatment to avoid any interruptions during each session (prevents thermo-resistance of tissue due to intermittent cooling). We minimize the presence of metal objects (bed, trays, other devices) in the vicinity of the device, maximize the distance between the applicator and generator and we have added additional cable screens. We have had very consistent results and the degree of fat reduction depends on the number of treatments. Incidentally, our most outstanding result followed only one single session. As with other devices for fat reduction based on tissue heating the major problem is the temperature you can achieve in fat layer. We have done numerous treatments with thermocouples (needles-thermometers) inserted during treatment into the targeted layer and our protocol was designed based on these findings. In summary, I believe that majority of fat reduction devices can provide excellent results but it may require adjustment of the protocols.

Answer: Varying Results for Vanquish That is unfortunate. If you were properly evaluated to be a good candidate, you should get similar results. My concerns would be: were you instructed on proper hydration before and after the treatment? This can make a big difference in the results. Also, the intensity of the heat being properly administered is critical. Had the staff been trained properly? They should have tracked the intensity of the heat during your treatments. Now, that all being said, if your fat layer was mostly visceral (deep) and not top layer "pinchable" fat, then it is likely you were not a good candidate, as the Vanquish does not penetrate to the deep layers.
