Is it possible to correct my Mohs incision scar?

The good news is that your scar can be significantly improved. You're still very early in the healing process. However, your scar does appear widened and depressed and this likely won't improve on its own. Laser resurfacing or dermabrasion (not microderm at a spa) can be very helpful and I will typically start this treatment as early as 6 weeks. For nasal scars, I am partial to dermabrasion as you can significantly smooth scars. A formal scar revision, if necessary, would need to wait at least 6-12 months. Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. Don't Panic! It is very early in the healing phase and it may improve with time. That being said it is a depressed scar at this stage and unless it improve scar revision is totally reasonable. A linear mid-line vertical closure on the tip is not a technique I often see. If the depressed scar does not resolve, dermabrasion or a formal scar revision would be suitable techniques.
