In some cases, injections are effective to reduce the bulk of the scar tissue. However, in most cases like yours excision of the bulk of the scar and careful repair of the lip creates the best results. There are many ways to approach this. You can remove some of the excess tissue to lower to the level of the scar tissue to the scar open up. Physical examination and consultation your best initial action.
