I had Bodytite done on my arms. I asked my PS pre op If i would need to wear any compression garments and he said no. Should I wear them anyway to see faster results?

Answer: Bodytite Arms Thank you for your question. In our practice, we recommend that our patients wear a compressive sleeve garment for two weeks after treatment of the arms with Bodytite. We find that compression helps reduce the postoperative swelling, seroma formation and overall patient discomfort during the initial healing phase. We custom fit our patients with garments to ensure that they are not too tight or too loose. It is possible that there is a specific reason why your plastic surgeon does not want you in compression after your treatment. Best of luck with your recovery!
