Dear doctor. I had a regular Lipo on my lower abdomen back in 2003. Then about 3 years ago my upper abdomen had created a layer of fat (due to weigh gain) as there was no lipo done. I did this laser lipo treatment called body tite 2015 for my upper abdomen to try to fix the fat layer. After a year I noticed this bumb / scar tissue in the treated area. It looks ugly and really bothers me. Please help. Is there anything that could help to fix this???

Answer: Rippling after BodyTite Thank you for your question and posting your pictures. I believe the most efficient fix for this would be to go back in with the BodyTite without suction. In this way you can achieve destruction of the fat that is causing the rippling while tightening the overlying tissue. It is critical that you not gain weight following liposuction/fat destruction procedures as you can develop more visceral fat. This is the fat the causes diabetes, high blood pressue, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and even death.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: Contour issue Thank you for your question. It appears you have contour irregularity resulting from folds in the upper abdomen from the pictures. The deepest creases appear unchanged after the Body Tite procedure but more contour irregularities in between. This is difficult to correct but I would consider fat transfer to attempt to smooth the area. The deep creases could be treated with Fractora or similar surface energy in an attempt to tighten. It may take several sessions to fully correct it. Good luck.
