Does a Bodytite by InMode breast lift have similar results as a surgical breast lift?

BodyTite will certainly help lift a breast, however, it is not a replacement for a surgical breast lift.  I recommend BodyTite in patients who are "on the border" for needing a surgical lift.  BodyTite is certainly the most powerful "non-surgical" tool on the market for this, however, it is both patient and surgeon specific.  Depending on the degree of ptosis of the breast will determine how effective a result you will receive.  Also, depending on how aggressive the surgeon is will be a very significant factor in your results.

Ultimately, the question as to whether RF skin tightening can provide an adequate lift is dependent upon the degree of ptosis and the patient's expectations for correction.Patients must first consider the position of the NAC (nipple areolar complex i.e. the pigmented portion of the breast) as it relates to the inframammary crease. If the nipples are at or below the level of the crease the patient may benefit from a lift or mastopexy. The breast lift is designed to elevate sagging breasts to a more youthful position. It also helps to reshape and tighten the skin of the breasts. This is typically accomplished via a periareolar (around the nipple) incision with or without a vertical incision.Bodytite can tighten the skin envelope (to a certain extent). However, it will not necessarily eliminate the need for a surgical lift. By tightening the skin envelope, it may serve to limit the scar burden of a formal mastopexy (converting an anchor to a lollipop or a circumareolar).As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Radiofrequency treatments such as Fractora is amazing for the face, neck and chest and easy to undergo with only a couple of days downtime. I don't know what the bodytite does for breast lifting but i've heard it is helpful.

I would be careful to say that the device can deliver a surgical lift.  It makes more sense to discuss the fact that the device can cause contraction of the skin.  Your breast examination would then lead me to provide you with some reasonable expectations.

It seems too good to be true, right? It sort of is. BodyTite creates a controlled burn to the deeper tissues over the breast. You will not see results right away, but over time, collagen formation, remodeling, and contraction causes a shrink wrapping effect. This is great where the skin is loose like the arms, thighs, and face. The breasts are inherently heavier and there will be an ongoing pull downward against the treated tissue. This is why you will see a result, but nowhere near as drastic as a surgical procedure. I recommend scarless breast surgery to women with implants who need a little "pick me up" and any time liposuction is used for breast reduction. Hi There Thank you for your question.As someone with 7 years experience of BodyTite and probably far more cases done than any Dr in the USA, I would not suggest that breast lifting is a good idea with Facetite.In my hands Facetite does visibly tighten skin but this depends on the quality of the skin to start with.I would humbly suggest that except for the odd exceptional case the skin of the breasts that needs significant tightening will be too damaged to respond well.I hope this helps.Kind Regards Dr Dinesh Maini Zenith Cosmetic Clinics Nottingham 

This is a great question.  But instead of jumping to what Body Tite can or cannot do; I would start with your expectations. If the surgeon understood them then Body Tite may indeed be able to achieve the appearance you are seeking.  It certainly has limitations but it is essential to understand your expected result.  Good luck.

Thank you for your question. A small percentage of patients who present for a breast lift would be good candidates for the BodyTite breast lift. This can be due to several issues. If the breasts are deflated, a lift without augmentation is not going to be impressive. If the breasts are quite large, it is difficult to get sufficient skin tightening to lift the weight of the breast. Finally, if there are extensive stretch marks on the skin overlying the breasts, the skin will not tighten sufficiently. That being said, when the ideal candidate comes along, they can get very impressive results.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

We've been doing BodyTite and FaceTite for several months and while I think the treatment is fantastic for the face, neck and body when properly performed, I don't think even the developer of the device would consider the results to be equivalent to a surgical breast lift. I would consider the use of BodyTite for breast lift to be an alternative for patients who do not want a surgical breast lift, but are willing to accept a mild-to-moderate improvement through the use of BodyTite.
