I had rhinoplasty 2 months ago and I’m noticing just today that upon examining the inside of my nostrils, my septum moves to the right when I breathe out. Should I be concerned about a revision? Could this be a result of having been sick with colds twice during my recovery?

It is very likely that your nose will continue to flatten out as the swelling goes out from the surgery. Implants can create additional swelling that can last several months so at this time I would remain patient and follow up with your surgeon.

Thanks for your question. The dissolvable stitches should be gone by now, but the best way to know is to get your doc to take a quick peek up there to be sure. If you were to pluck one of the stitches at this point it probably wouldn't damage you, but it sure would hurt! Good luck!
