Will my nose bridge go down/flatten a rhibit after Gore-Tex implant? (Photos)

It’s nearly 4 weeks after my surgery and the swollen has gone down heaps. My bridge is abit high. Will my bridge go down/flatten a bit over time considering it’s gortex implant?

Thank you for your question. Although VSG may seem like a simple surgery, it does take some time to recover properly. Although four to six weeks is the minimum amount of time you should wait before having another surgery, I recommend waiting a bit longer to ensure complete and proper healing. My...

Excision of the full thickness skin graft and direct closure of the defect would be the best option in my opinion. This may lift the tip of your nose slightly but will result in a better appearance. A skin graft is inevitably going to look different from the surrounding skin.

Rhinoplasty cast removed harshly and painfully. Is this normal or will it affect the shape of my nose?

Well, it's not normal to have frank pain with splint removal, as well as not requiring "a ton of force." Yet, if a forceps was used, it may have been more uncomfortable for you but less potentially damaging to the healing tissues.Timing of splint removal is an issue that has not been discussed....

Can crying ruin rhinoplasty results?

Crying will not ruin your rhinoplasty procedure.  Post operative anxiety and sadness are common after rhinoplasty surgery.   Speak to your surgeon if you are experiencing significant mood change or anxiety..  Best of luck.
