Chalazion returned after removal - do I need another procedure? (Photo)

I had a procedure on February 4th this year to remove a chalazion, and it did go away at the time. However, it has now returned, and I’m wondering whether the procedure wasn’t fully effective, or if I might need to undergo another one?

Eyelid surgery during brow lift or separately?

Based on these photos, bilateral ptosis correction with lateral canthopexy would be procedures to start with. More elaborate consultation needs to be done in person with a board certified plastic or Oculoplastic surgeon. Good luck.

I recommend a brow lift at the frontal hairline. This will decrease the vertical height of the forehead, lower the hairline and pull up the eyebrows. I do not believe you need a blepharoplasty at this time. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
