Eyelid surgery during brow lift or separately?

Question

Is it better to address something to the eyelids during a brow lift, or is it better to do it separately? I saw some videos on YouTube, and I noticed that patients had very swollen eyelids right after their brow lifts.

I prefer to do the brow lift first as it may take out some of the upper eyelid skin and decrease or eliminate the need for the upper blepharoplasty.

It depends on your situation. If you extra skin in the upper eyes but brows are at a good position then only Upper Blepharoplasty. However, if you have low brows and extra skin then do both together. The swelling is more with Browlift but that would happen either way. Be vigilant with icing afterwards and that will help.
