I have lines across my forehead and other areas of my face. I am 44 years of age and very self conscious. I also want Rhinoplasty although do not know if I can get both done at the same time. I hate the lines on my face and want to look in my twenties again.
Answer: I would not recommend it Hello and thank you for your question. Generally, your risk for complications increases after your surgery length exceeds 4.5-5 hours. Although there are some surgeons who can do a facelift and rhinoplasty collectively in less than this amount of time, many will take that whole time for just the facelift. Additionally, both a facelift and a rhinoplasty are very complex procedures, even for those surgeons who do hundreds of them every year, so you do not want your surgeon rushing with either the facelift or the rhinoplasty, as you want them to instead deliver the best possible aesthetic result from these procedures. Therefore, it is possible to do the rhinoplasty during the same surgery, but given the unnecessarily increased risk for complications in combining these elective procedures, I would not recommend it. The safer option would be to stage these into 2 separate surgeries- the facelift as one surgery, and the rhinoplasty as another. I hope this helps!

Answer: Facelift and Rhinoplasty at Same Time? The simple answer is that they can be performed at the same time, and I have done so from time to time. However, I generally separate the procedures due to time limitations, and a different scope of recovery.
