Uneven lip, right side hanging down after juvederm 3wks ago. What can I do other than hyaluronidase? (Photo)

Always had full lips, just wanted to try. 0.4cc juvederm a month ago, results were great and even, thought we could use a bit more on right side (doc asked me to come back to use remaining filler if i wanted to). a week after, went for a touch up. put more on right side,0.6cc on upper lip. Immediately it was lopsided and right side was drooping down. Thought it was swelling so let it go. After 3wks, right side still too full, hangs down on my teeth when I smile, lost my natural smile curve line.

3 weeks is an acceptable amount of time to schedule a follow up with the Dr to be assessed. Other than hyaluronidase, time is your option. The Dr may be able to massage the lip to create more symmetry. Hope this helps.

Deaer Turtleblue,After three weeks I would expect that the swelling from your Juvederm injection would be resolved. You should return to your injector for assessment. Other than hyaluronidase injection that dissolves the hyaluronic acid filler there is little that can be done until the body naturally absorbs the product. Perhaps your injector can massage the lip to better distribute the HA filler. The other option would be to have more filler injected in the smaller side but that would lead to even bigger lips.
