Is it possible to use lasers to treat broken capillaries from the upper eyelid?

I have developed some small, red broken capillaries on my upper eyelid close to the lash line. They have remained without improving for over six months. Is there a treatment that could minimize/eliminate their appearance? Are lasers used in this area?

Great question. That area is little tricky since its so close to the eye and is actually inside the eye socket margins. Lasers are successful but will need hard shield for the eye ball while doing laser procedures.

Hello,  Lasers cannot go anywhere within the orbital rim.  I would recommend having them evaluated at a Medical Spa.  There may be a way to help, without seeing you it is hard to say.

It is possible to treat the broken capillaries at the eye lid, but you will need to have metal eye shields placed on the eye, underneath the eye lid, in order to protect the eye from the laser. Another issue is that the laser will also burn the eyelash hair and there is a risk of the eyelash hair not growing back.

Yes, you can safely and effectively have blood vessels on your eyelids.  We use our Diolite or Dornier vascular laser and have great results.  It does require a metal eye held to be placed most of the time.
