Metal taste after sclerotherapy. Can you tell me how long this will last?

I have a metal taste in my mouth after sclearotherapy. I am 4 weeks post treatment. I did not know about this side effect until I read about it.

Hi Dear  I would recommend ultrasound, If the skin has infection,it should have warmth to touch. Go to your doctor ASAP or go to nearest ER/urgent care to rule out DVT (deep venous thrombosis) Thank you Ramtin Massoudi, MD

You are correct.  Hand vein treatment is strictly a cosmetic procedure.  If the hand veins are removed either by sclerotherapy, laser or through tiny incisions then the forearm or upper arm veins with need to be used for IV access.  Also, I never remove the veins on the palm side of the wris...
