Metallic taste has been reported as side effects with foam based agents, which have also been noted to pass quickly after the treatment. It would be good to discuss this symptom with the provider who injected you, what agent(s) were used, and discuss other medications/symptoms your experiencing. This may be coincidence and not causation.
I have seen a metallic taste following laser ablation due to the vein wall dissovling and the byproducts of this being perceived as a metallic taste as they are pumped through the body to the brain and taste buds. I have not seen this occur from sclerotherapy. I would recommend trying an antacid to see if this gives relief and I would also recommend having a GI evaluation.
