Am I able to get Emsculpt after liposuction?

I got lipo in my entire abdomen and flanks about two weeks ago. I’m interested in getting the emsculpt treatment . Am I a candidate? If so when can I start?  If so how long would I have to wait?

Hello,It would be best if you went to your nearest physician for an assessment but 2 weeks is likely too soon for Emsculpt after a surgical procedure such as liposuction. It's hard to say if you're a good candidate without seeing a photo but typically Emsculpt is a great option to enhance your results and tighten the abdomen by building the underlying muscle!

Hello,Thank you for your question. Without seeing a picture it is impossible to determine if you are a candidate. You usually need to wait 6-8 weeks after lipo before you can treat with EmSculpt but please discuss with your physician to get their exact direction. Best of luck!

Thanks for the question, in liposuction we treat the skin and fat, our new protocol allows for either pre or post lipo emasculating to enhance and sculpt the core muscles. This brings everything together for the body and has dramatically improved our results. I start 1 week after surgery for the abdomen. I have included some pictures!

Yes, you can get EMSculpt after liposuction. However, you are still likely swollen and healing from your liposuction. You need an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for the treatment and if so what would be the most appropriate timing since your surgery. Hope this helps.

Although it is difficult to say without an in person examination, Emsculpt can be a great option to help further sculpt and tone the muscle, following fat removal by liposuction. You will want to wait until your incisions have healed and swelling/bruising has subsided before undergoing Emsculpt treatment. To ensure safe and effective treatment, I suggest making an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for consultation before undergoing Emsculpt treatment.

Therefore, you would not be an ideal candidate for the procedure.  I would recommend getting the Emsculpt treatments after your scars from the liposuction have completely healed. While you can get EMSCULPT® after liposuction to enhance your results, it would be best to wait at least until the swelling has diminished after liposuction. At two weeks post-op, you’re not seeing your final results just yet, so you may want to hold off on additional treatments until you have a better idea of where your remaining trouble spots might be.
