Hi doctors . I'm attaching a photo of my bbl progress, I'm a bit concerned that I have a lot of top shelf roundness which I wanted but the bottom is not as full and round as I expected? Will this settle and come down some? I had no upper shelf at all prior to surgery and my doctor said he wanted to focus on that area and the dents on each side of the hip where I had squareness and round that out, Top is still very hard. I had 800cc's put in on each side.would I need SX again to get to wishpic?

5 days after your surgery is too early to judge your result;
however, for immediate post op period your results look good. Your body will
continue to remodel the fat and healing goes on for 9 months to a year. In order to optimize your fat survival follow your ps recommendation. Best

Thank you for your pictures.  Your fat grafts are not going to settle. Your contour pretty much is what it will be self it may come down a little bit but due to swelling. I don't think you're going to meet your goals of your wish picture even with additional surgery.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

The first few weeks after fat transfer is an early post operative result. Things will settle down. I would wait for at least 8-12 weeks to look at a stable result. Best of luck

Hello, You are still in your immediate post-op period and your surgery looks fine. There is still much swelling at this point. Give your body time to recover. Fat keeps on moulding itself as some of it is reabsorbed and your own body movements (as well as the CG) continue to help with lymphatic drainage. The only comment I have (and this is a personal opinion which varies a lot between surgeons) is that when I do BBL, I use a CG with two opening on the back to try and not put excessive pressure on the grafted fat. Same as any other type of graft, it needs to be revascularized (as in new blood vessels need to grow), so putting a lot of pressure would reduce its blood supply. Wish pics work just to have an idea of volume of butt the patient finds ideal, but not to literally imitate. That said, your result looks as it may end up pretty near your uploaded photo.Good luck on your recovery, Dr. Fernandez Goico
