Hi Helen. The answer is a resounding yes. We have found Sculptra to work well for virtually all of our patients. With that said, more product is typically required for an older patient with more dramatic fatty tissue and collagen loss. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question! Scupltra can not only provide a natural looking appearance it can also stimulate collagen. Be sure to schedule a consultation with a qualified provider. All the best!
Yes, Sculptra will work for someone over 70. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
We have many years of experience with Sculptra in very thin and older patients. The results are very impressive even in the 70 plus crowd. It will take a series of treatments over several months but it is worth it.
Yes, Sculptra will continue to stimulate collagen at any age. However, it will be at a slower rate for someone that is in their 70s versus someone that is younger.

It is possible to get temporary swelling and bruising after filler injections, such as Sculptra and Juvederm. The amount of swelling and bruising you have 3 days after your injection does not appear unusual. These issues should begin to improve but it may take a week or two.
I know this is being done but I'm concerned about this practice. I believe that you will either have no results because the particles are too big to go down into the microchannels create of that you will get nodularity from this. There are some advocating this but I don't think its a great idea....
