Help...major swelling between eyes. Inside corners of eyes & upper sides of bridge of nose sooo swollen after I received Sculptra in forehead & Juvederm under eyes on Tuesday (3days ago). Will this go away?

It is possible to get temporary swelling and bruising after filler injections, such as Sculptra and Juvederm.  The amount of swelling and bruising you have 3 days after your injection does not appear unusual.  These issues should begin to improve but it may take a week or two.

Hello!  It can take up to two weeks to see the final results so try not to panic. It’s likely that your swelling will improve a bit each day. It always looks worse in the morning after a night of lying flat, so try and sleep with your head elevated until the swelling is gone. Having said that, Juvederm is a hydrophilic filler (water loving) and not my first choice for under the eye. In some cases, doctors “prehydrate” the filler with sterile saline or lidocaine and that can prevent the product from attracting more water. If after two weeks you’re still swollen, see your doctor. If worse comes to worst, the filler can always be removed with hyaluronidase.
