White bump on my lip after lip filler?? Should I be worried? (photo)

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Most likely the white bump is a bit of dermal filler that was placed too close to the skin surface.  Depending on the material it may smooth over time and I would allow your results to mature for at 2-3 weeks.  If the lump persists ask your injector to add hyaluronidase to dissolve it.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Bruising and swelling are common after lip injections, an should subside within a few days. I suggest that you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Hi and thank you for your question! Bruising and swelling are quite common after any filler injection and they shouldn't be a cause of concern per se. I always advise my patients to allow 2 weeks for all the swelling and bruising to resolve and at time if there are any concerns, it can be easily addressed. Please note that this advice only pertains to swelling and bruising and for other signs and symptoms that could indicate complications (e.g. pain and tenderness, redness, heat, etc) or if the swelling gets worse after a few days you need to contact your injector for a follow up right away. It's difficult to tell from your picture. I recommend following up with your injector for a formal evaluation. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

This could be product (the filler), a bruise, a gland, or a combination of things. I suggest you be examined by your  injector, especially if this is not better on it's own. Superficial product can be drained easily and replaced if there's loss of volume.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

I'm sorry that you are having some side effects as minor as it is.  There is a minor bump, and it seems that you are also having some bruising. 
At this stage I would not worry too much and will give it about a week, and if it is not there then I will ask my physician to intervene.

It is a bit difficult to evaluate from your pictures, but you appear to have significant swelling from your lip injections. This could be related to that or could be something else. I encourage you to follow up with your injector and have them evaluate you.

It is hard to see from your photo. If you are concerned please follow up with your injecting physician. Sometimes there can be a small amount of filler too close to the surface or glands in your lips are more noticeable after injection. Good luck with your recovery and your results.
