I recommend seeing your injector or a Doctor today for an evaluation for vascular occlusion. The filler can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.

Hi and thanks for your question. It looks like your injector injected some filler into a blood vessel and this caused some temporary damage to your skin. This is something that should resolve without scarring if handled correctly. Part of handling this correctly, however, is treating it right away. I have been injecting noses daily for 14 years and I have seen this complication happen.If, after seeing your photos your injector told you to come back in 10 days, you need to find someone who knows what they are doing. Someone who has real experience injecting the nose needs to see you right away. They need to reverse the filler with hyaluronidase, give you oral steroids, start you on aspirin and then follow you closely until you are securely on the road to recovery. Hope that helps.

Your pictures are concerning for vascular occlusion or compression after your nose filler. This is not to be taken lightly. I would recommend you see your injector ASAP for an in-person evaluation.  Your pictures are concerning because you may have blocked some blood vessels around your nose from the filler injection.  This could be due to the fillers clogging the vessels or from swelling and bruising. You should see a board-certified Dr. who is an injection specialist and check the circulation to your skin.  You might need to dissolve the product if you have bad circulation.

It sounds like your injector hit a blood vessel.  It bled, she had to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding. The bleeding stopped, but bruising caused by leaked blood. Now if Juvederm material got inside of the blood vessel, then that can cause tissue damage (i.e. necrosis) by occluding/blocking the blood floor.  Get your injector involved in monitoring that area.
