Hello I’d like to know what could be done to correct dent in lower right portion of my stomach? I had liposuction back in July. PS who did the surgery said that more fat would need to be removed but I do not want to remove more fat. In the areas where he removed too much fat (lower stomach) I now have a slight ripple effect which is more obvious if I bend over. Do I need to graft fat there or how about renuva injections? Also too much fat was removed from my banana roll on left side
Answer: Irregularities after stomach liposuction persist after 3 months. There is a circular dent which persisted after healing (Photo) I think it is possible that the result may improve with time. There may be swelling from 6 months to a year. Contour irregularities after liposuction could potentially be treated with fat grafting, but an exam would be mandatory.

Answer: Post Lipo - Lymphatic Massage, Hyperbaric Oxygen, RF (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Vanquish, InMode Forma), Cellutone/Z Wave/Evive you need a formal consultation to see if anything can be done, its likely that you need a revision procedure and skin care/cosmelan for pigmentation improvement. If you are unhappy with your results please speak to your physician and ensure he was a full body VASER HD liposuction physciain wtih expensive experience in body shaping and not just traditional fat reduction. At this point you should be using compression, RF treatments like venus legacy / exilis ultra / inmode forma or contoura and lymphatic massage to get you through healing. We always add shock wave therapy such as cellutone, z wave, and eclipse evive to help prvent scar tissue formation and ensure an even and smooth result. It will take 6-12 months to see the final outcome. If you are unhappy you can get a revision procedure by an expert in VASER HD lipo. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Liposuction results Dear Anon845284,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a liposuction surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Too Early To Worry Anon845284. I understand your concern, however it can take as long as six months for all swelling to subside. I recommend that you try to stay patient reassess your final results at that time and then discuss options with your surgeon. Your own fatty tissue is a better option than temporary injectables, if needed. Good luck.

Answer: Irregularities after stomach liposuction persist after 3 months. Thanks for your question. I would suggest you wait a little longer to see the final results from your surgery. Healing after liposuction is usually pretty straight forward. There is a process of swelling and bruising that peaks at 3 days after surgery and then undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery. The lateer phase of healing takes place over the 2-3 months after surgery where everything really settles and softens. It is after this time that we are getting close to the final result, though this varies patient to patient. It usually takes up to 6 months for the final results to show.
