I went from small b to a small d. The right breast is doing well I think. The left however is still high and square. I'm concerned about it. They both still look flat and like "snoopy noses" especially from the side. Please see before and after pics and front and side view after 9 weeks. I think they look best in the arms raised picture. Please openly share your thoughts. Thank you.
Answer: 2 months post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling. Kind regards

Answer: Breasts You healed very well and have nice symmetry with respect to the placement of the implants. The nipples are a bit low and medially displaced so a revision to raise and lateralize the nipples would give you a much nicer result could be considered.

Answer: Breast Lift and Implant Results From the pictures, it seems that both implants are sitting a bit high. That will give you the appearance of a low nipple position and lack of fullness in the breast. It is not that unusual for implants at 9 weeks to be a bit high. I have seen this on occasion using textured implants more than smooth implants. I would recommend downward massage on the implants and more time to heal before any recommendations as to how to improve the shape. Please ask your doctor about his or her opinion as to what to expect. When I see this, I have my patient wait about 6 months before I make a decision to lower the implants if they stay high.Good luck to you.Dr Spies

Answer: There Are A Couple Of Issues Thanks for your question. I think the key to understanding where you are now is appreciating your breast anatomy in your pre-op photo. It seems to me that you have the type of breast anatomy that maybe should have had an aggressive breast lift first and then do the augmentation 8 to 12 months later. The reason I say this is because your picture shows what looks like a bad Grade 2 ptosis on the right side with a deep upper pole scoop. Many women do not want to have 2 operations, I understand that. So, although the first reaction is to say that the implants look too high, I think that the anatomy says that you own breast tissue and your nipples are too low. Having said that, with time your implants may move down a bit and stretch out the lower pole skin and make the anatomy look some better. Continue to patient.
