Two weeks post Breast reduction, lift, and implant and my nipples are clearly not in alignment with one another? (Photos)

HEALING OF SENSORY NERVES: Tingling, burning or shooting pains, which will disappear
with time and should not alarm you, indicate regeneration of the sensory
nerves. If these sensations cause pain, repeated, local self-massage helps.

ASYMMETRY: The two breasts commonly heal quite differently. One
breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial
shape. After complete healing, they will be more similar and natural. You must
have patience, but if this causes concern, ask questions of the doctor or the
nursing staff.

SHAPE AND CONTOUR: The final shape of your breasts will start to look its
best approximately three (3) months after surgery. It takes time for the skin
and muscle to stretch and relax around the new implant. The breast will often
look higher, firmer, and “less natural” in the first three (3) months. It can
take up to a year to see your final result.

FOLLOW-UP EXAMS: These are generally done in 1 week, 2 to 3
weeks, 3 to 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months to 1 year, and 1-2 year intervals. In
our office we include all of your follow up appointments in the initial
surgical fee.

Since it can take some time for the final placement and contour to appear, you should not be too worried. However, if you are concerned or have questions at all you should not hesitate to visit your surgeon to have the area examined and make sure that healing is going well. Good luck.

Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.  2 weeks after Breast Reduction, it's not time enough to express a valid opinion of results.On the other hand, generally to avoid the normal p.o. swelling, I recommend to limit the arms movement for two weeks. Also it's not advisable to carry weight and take the antiinflamatory painkillers drugs.Finally, I recommend you always use a therapeutic bra.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.- 

Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation / lifting surgery. Although I cannot predict exactly how your breasts will change, given that you are only 2 weeks out of surgery, it is most likely that your breasts will change significantly over the course of the next several weeks/months.  





Exactly how the breasts will change of course will depend on exactly what procedure was carried out, and how the breast implants settle, etc..;  therefore, your plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to meaningful assessment, advice, and/or reassurance. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be pleased with long-term.

It is too soon to tell for sure.  Best to give it a few months to heal. If they are a bit off for your satisfaction. then perhaps a small revision may be necessary in the future.

Need to see before posted photos to see if you had an asymmetry to begin with. If you did than this could be the reason of the N/A differences. Best to seek in person second opinions....

It is too soon to see your final result.  It appears from your photos that your breast need to settle.  If a revision is needed, in most cases it can be done in an office setting under local anesthesia. Follow up with your surgeon on a regular basis so he can monitor your progress.
