two weeks post op and the arms are still hurting my tummy tuck was a walk in the park compared to this.....the sutures are now pulling as my arms are healing.....I feel aching pain and alot of bruising.....waiting for my compression jacket to arrive as I had an allergic reaction to the latex in the tensor bandages that I was wrapped in hoping it will help still taking T3 nerve tingling too

You are still recovering from the arm lift and you will find that the discomfort and swelling will continue to go down with every week that passes. Be careful not to stress the arms too much with activity and visit your plastic surgeon regularly during the post-op period.

Answer: Should I still have pain after arm lift? Sorry to hear about your pain. It is not unusual that you are still having pain but I would be curious to try to pin point the cause of the pain. My guess in that you still have quite a bit of swelling and your venous return has been altered and therefore making the swelling last longer than other areas that you have surgery. I tell patients that the arm is like a cylinder and there is only one way for the swelling to dissipate and sometimes this process takes time in some patients.
