Can you do a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time? The Mexico and DR doctors have told me they can do it together but then the US doctors say they rather do one procedure at a time
Answer: BBL and TT Thanks for your question...Every surgeon varies. It may be easier for your recovery and survival of fat cells to do it separately. You cannot sleep on your stomach if you have a tummy tuck and you cannot sleep on your back if you have a BBL, therefore contradicting each other.Seek a board certified PS for another opinion. You can learn more on our social media (Instagram and Snapchat): @realdrsix. Answer: Tummy tuck and bbl this difference exists among infividual American surgeons as well so it’s not a national thing, it just varies from surgeon to surgeon wherever you go. Personally I don’t perform bbl at all. It’s a waste of money and complications can be serious.

I hope that helps! Best of Luck! Matthew J. Nykiel, MD #CoreAesthetic Butt Augmentation Specialist Liposuction Specialist Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: TT and BBL Hello and thank you for your question...Whether or not one can or will perform a TT and BBL at the same time depends on multiple factors but the most important factor is whether the patient is a good surgical candidate. If the patient is a good surgical candidate then it depends on the surgeons comfort level. I frequently perform 360 liposuction, tummy tuck and BBL in the same operation. It seems as though you are considering going to a different country to undergo surgery...Please think really long and hard before you decide to go to another country for plastic surgery. You may be trying to save money but in the end it could cost you a lot more financially and in regards to your health. I have attached before and afters of a patient I performed 360 liposuction, full tummy tuck and BBL on. I hope this helps and please make sure you are being evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Brazalian Buttocklift (BBL) & Abdominoplasty: Information Dear Ms. Natalievixen, Thank you for your questions. Brazilian Buttock Lift (BBL) and tummy tuck procedures can be completed at one surgical event. Unfortunately with out photos, a review of your past/current medical history and a exam of your tissues I can can only comment based your story, however I hope you find my comments helpful. MULTIPLE PROCEDURES Only after a complete review of your medical history and a complete exam can the final decision be made on how many procedures can be performed in one setting. Assuming no major health issues the procedures you desire are often done in one surgical setting RECOVERY Hopefully, you will be meeting with your Plastic Surgeon prior to your surgery to go over all the pre and post operative instructions and to answer all your questions. I suggest you make a written list of your questions. BBL: In general, most patients have recovered in the 2 week peroid of time. I allow my patients to sit on their buttock areas when their is no longer any pain. I suggest you purchase a BBL pillow type pillow to place the majority of your weight on your thighs while sitting. Gentle postoperative massage of the harvest areas is recommended. Purchase a hand held massager and massage oil and use as tolerated as the post operative pain remits for the first several months. I also recommend Vellashape III (radio frequency) to help shrink the skin over the fat harvest areas. TUMMY TUCK: Likewise, most patients have recovered in the 2 week peroid of time and are abel to return to a non physically demanding job. You will be abel to walk in the erect position 4 days after surgery. I reccommend you make a list of your questions and schedule several consultative appointments with Plastic Surgeons who are Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (denoting by membership as having met additional criteria and a focus on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery). I wish you my best and success, R. A. Hardesty, MD, FACS Diplomate and Certified by the Am.
