Can you do a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time? The Mexico and DR doctors have told me they can do it together but then the US doctors say they rather do one procedure at a time
Answer: BBL and TT Thanks for your question...Every surgeon varies. It may be easier for your recovery and survival of fat cells to do it separately. You cannot sleep on your stomach if you have a tummy tuck and you cannot sleep on your back if you have a BBL, therefore contradicting each other.Seek a board certified PS for another opinion. You can learn more on our social media (Instagram and Snapchat): @realdrsix. Answer: Tummy tuck and bbl this difference exists among infividual American surgeons as well so it’s not a national thing, it just varies from surgeon to surgeon wherever you go. Personally I don’t perform bbl at all. It’s a waste of money and complications can be serious.

Answer: TT and BBL Hello and thank you for your question...Whether or not one can or will perform a TT and BBL at the same time depends on multiple factors but the most important factor is whether the patient is a good surgical candidate. If the patient is a good surgical candidate then it depends on the surgeons comfort level. I frequently perform 360 liposuction, tummy tuck and BBL in the same operation. It seems as though you are considering going to a different country to undergo surgery...Please think really long and hard before you decide to go to another country for plastic surgery. You may be trying to save money but in the end it could cost you a lot more financially and in regards to your health. I have attached before and afters of a patient I performed 360 liposuction, full tummy tuck and BBL on. I hope this helps and please make sure you are being evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Better And Safer To Stage BBL and Tummytuck Natalie. Most board-certified plastic surgeons in the U.S. prefer to stage these 2 procedures. It is safer and better for your recovery. BBL and Tummytuck operations each carry a higher incidence of blood clot formation and possible harm or blockage of the lungs. Performing them simultaneously statistically increases the chances of this occurring. Also, recovery from BBL requires no pressure on your buttocks for two weeks after surgery to preserve fat take. You also cannot lie on your stomach after tummy tuck, so this limits the positions that you can recover. Also, the maximum OR time for an ambulatory operation should be no more than 6 hours, BBL and Tummytuck can take longer. It is best to perform the BBL first, to allow your surgeon to harvest as much fat as possible for transfer. 4 to 6 months later, mommy makeover surgery can then be performed. Have your surgery close to home as it is far safer than having surgery in a Third World country. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to increase chances for the best possible results. Best of luck.
