Had tummy tuck..both drains fell out 5 days after surgery..i have had lots of fluid build up in my lower belly and pubic area..surgeon was draining me every couple weeks..I find my tummy so hard and very swollen..Had ultra sound done and again I sti have seroma...I also had a gastric bypass done 3 years ago..could that be why I'm not absorbing this fluid..it's so very hard and uncomfortable..

Swelling will get better with time, but seromas are more serious and in late cases where they don;t fully resolved some patients may need to go back to surgery.
