I am an older woman and have my lip lift scheduled for 6/26. Because of 4 of July, the office is taking a holiday and won’t be able to take out my stitches until 7/5. That will make it 10 days before stitches are out. The doctor has offered to do dissolvable stitches but I’m not sure I want those. What should I do?

It appears that your upper lip is longer and that procedure like lip lift should be considered. However, that can be decided only on the basis of in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
