Would lipo on my love handles change my square butt? (photos)

Hi Lmcviking3. Thank you for your photos. An in person examination and consultation with a board certified PS will provide you with the contouring options. Surgical liposuction with (e.g. VASER) or without skin tightening and noninvasive contouring with CoolSculpting are worth considering.

This is what I do daily in my practice and love the results.  You can '"shape" the buttock by removing the love handles and contouring the lower back, hips, and buttock roll.  I often use the fat from the back to lift and shape the buttock as well.  I suggest you seek a formal consultation with a body contouring specialist, someone who does a lot of shaping and not just soley fat removal.  Best, Dr. Emer.

On the contrary, I believe that liposuction of your flanks will give you an excellent results. Good luck. 

Liposuction of your love handles will improve your upper buttocks but won't help your lower buttocks and hips. Removal of fat overlying  the hip bone would help your shape however fat transfer would provide better symmetry.

If the treatment of your love handles includes the upper outer part of your buttocks, then I believe you are a candidate to have a much improved curvier look.I think your figure is quite nice and don't personally think you need a Brazilian.That is, of course, an individual choice, and ideal body shapes vary from person-to-person.I think it is important you describe exactly what your wishes are to your plastic surgeon prior to the procedure.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

I see your concern.  You have a nice shape, but liposuction in the love handle area will help you achieve the result you are looking for.  Best wishes!
