I have asymmetrical upper lip, and its more clearly visible when I smile. I wish that my left(L->my left, R-> my right in pic) side of upper lip would have been like the right side of upper lip because I want my front two teeth to be visible when my mouth is slightly open. What might be a possible solution for this(if possible) ? (I edited pics a lil bit because now lip boundary is more clearly visible)
Answer: FILLERS You should start out with 1cc of filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur.

Answer: Addressing Asymetrical Upper Lip Candidates for lip augmentation include: thin lips, wrinkled lips due to aging or smoking, asymmetrical lips or those in need of lip reconstruction. To address your asymetrical upper lip, I suggest you consider more permanent solutions that include fat injections, direct lip lift, sub-nasal lip lift and corner lip lift. I suggest you consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon because the board certified credential ensures you receive the highest quality knowledge, treatment, care and skill available. A consultation provides you the opportunity to relay your concerns and desired outcome to the surgeon while the surgeon can assess your health profile and discuss his/her pertinent advice.

Answer: Depending on your examination, selective lip augmentation may be considered to restore symmetry. You appear to have less volume in your right upper lip compared to your left. Depending on your examination fillers could be considered. In our practice we may prefer using Slikon-1000, an off label filler for permanent results.Hope this helps.Dr Joseph

Answer: In my office I like to use dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane Silk for improving lip asymmetries. Thank you for your question. In my office I like to use dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane Silk for improving lip asymmetries. These are hyaluronic acid fillers that can easily be dissolved with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the results. I recommend having a consultation with an experienced and talented injector to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!

Answer: Lip symmetry If no movie stars could have uneven lips there would be no movie stars. I find that that chasing asymmetries is for the most part unrewarding as people get obsessive about it and so self conscious that it's hard to make people happy. Messing around with with them too much can convert a problem that only you can see into a problem that everyone to see. If if you want to try, use ha fillers like restylsne which can be dissolved if necessary. I would emphatically stay away from anything permanent . Permanent means forever and a problem or further asymmetry will be essentially incorrectable.
