8 weeks post op tummy tuck still dealing with swelling as the day goes on. How long should I expect this? Also had lipo on inner and outer thighs, they look better but still seem very swollen is that normal?

Thank you for your question and sharing your photos. Swelling is very common after tummy tuck and can take about 6 months for swelling to go down. Thanks for your inquiry,  it may take several months to even a year for all the swelling to go away.  Discuss with your surgeon about compression wear like spanx to help with the swelling.

Dear lucilj2004,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a TT surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process at 8 weeks  post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen.
