Had TT 8/11/17 and had psuedobursa repair 10/25/17. Still having swelling in abdomen just below my breast. Is this normal?

Swelling goes away during the night and returns in morning as I become more active. Doesn’t actually hurt just a little uncomfortable bloated feeling. I quite wearing the binder last Thursday. IShould I still be wearing it and for how long? I go back to dr in January.

Swelling can still be present at this point in recovery, but with your history of pseudobursa it is best for you to return to your surgeon for an evaluation.  Typically patients wear the compression garment for 6 weeks after surgery.  This can vary by patient ans surgeon, so it is best to check with yours to find out what is recommended for you.

Go back to your doctor sooner if possible for an evaluation. There is a chance that you have a persistent pseudobursa in your upper abdomen which is forming a seroma. Hopefully you just have persistent post op swelling which will go away with more time. I would wear your compression garment until your doctors appointment.
