Is it safe to lipo the lateral chest walls and the back bra line when performing a breast reduction? (photo)

Thank you for your question and photo.  The blood supply to the affected areas are separate and should be safe for liposuction at the time of your procedure.  This is not an uncommon request. Even though there is insurance coverage for your breast reduction procedure, there usually is still a charge for the facility and anesthesia for the cosmetic part of the surgery that is not covered by your insurance. Not only is it generally safe, but is preferred by many of my patients and myself to do liposuction nearby rather than two surgeries as long as the surgery is not overly long. Discuss fully with your plastic surgeon including risks and benefits.
