I have finally been approved for a breast reduction (yaay) and I also plan to have a tummy tuck (w/lipo of waist line & flanks). Since I will be having the procedures done separately, I'm trying to decide what area of lipo is safest to combine with my reduction. Is performing lipo of lateral chest & back bra line safe to combine with a breast reduction?

Answer: Is liposuction safe with a breast reduction? Congratulations on your approval for a breast reduction. Liposuction is quite safe with a breast reduction. This is the best time for you to have liposuction since you want a tummy tuck also. Liposuction of the back and tummy tuck can be problematic so breaking your procedures up into two phases is a great idea.

Answer: Is it safe to lipo the lateral chest walls and the back bra line when performing a breast reduction? Congratulations on your approval for breast reduction surgery; this operation tends to one of the most patient pleasing operations performed. Assuming you are a good candidate for liposuction surgery ( diet and exercise resistant adipose tissue of localized areas, "covered" by good quality skin elasticity), then additional surgery will likely be possible/safe. Your plastic surgeon will be in the best position to advise you more specifically. Best wishes with your upcoming procedures.
