Would a button and/or snub nose be a better fit for my face? (Photo)

Question

The bridge of my nose isn't large, but I believe the size of my nostrils gives the appearance of a huge giganto-nose. It's honestly very annoying because the rest of my features on my face are very small. Any advice is welcome! I've included pictures of my nose, as well as noses I would prefer.

You have a very cute looking face even with your nose as is. However, the width of your nose and the upturned nostrils are directing attention away from your eyes. The tip and nostrils can be refined so that they are not so prominent.  It would involve defining and derotating your nasal tip.  Your new nose won’t be exactly like the noses that are your ideals, but it will be one that better flatters your face and lets the viewer’s gaze be directed toward your eyes. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your
photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon
and not just a computer animation system. The most important
aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek
consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate
you in person.

Limited tip rhinoplasty can help improve the appearance of your tip. I use a 3D imaging system to help patient visualize possible outcome from surgery. You may want to seek a plastic surgeon with imaging system and obtain a consult.

When discussing nose refining or reshaping, facial measurements and balance is of paramount importance. During a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon, you will be able to see what would look great on your face. Your input is crucial and so I'd recommend that you really focus on what exactly it is that you want. A "snub nose" isn't something I do for my patients, but of course making noses smaller and more refined, etc is extremely common.

There are some refinements to your nose  that a rhinoplasty can accomplish, but it's impossible to give you someone else's nose. Digital computer imaging would be helpful to understand what can and cannot be accomplished with the procedure. It's important to have very clear and realistic goals but what you're trying to accomplish with the procedure, such as narrowing the tip, narrowing nostrils and rotation of the tip downwards.
