I agree with Dr. Steinsapir that if you are very concerned you can get a quick skin test. Most places will inject one to two units without charging you much at all. Answer: Botox does not contain egg protein. It contains small quantities of human albumin. It is very unlikely that you are allergic to botox. If your egg allergy has caused to have anaphylaxis, it is reasonable to have skin testing prior to treatment for peace of mind. This will be expensive because you will essentially need to buy a 50 unit vial of botox for this purpose but then you will know.
