I have been injecting Botox for aesthetic reasons since 1991. Early on it became clear that the injection of a microdroplet or two of Botox into the tails of the eyebrows can help to restorer the upward and outward flare of the outer third of the eyebrow characteristic of the more youthful brow. Additionally, treating the glabella (frown line, eleven lines) region between the eyebrows can also contribute to a more natural and more youthful elevation of the brow. And the two procedures are very often performed together in my experience. Be sure to consult with a board certified aesthetic physician. Good luck to you.
Botox under the eyebrow achieves a non-surgical or "chemical" brow lift. The 5 muscles under the eyebrows pull the brows down and the frontalis is the only one pulling up. Injection in the 11's or under the outer eyebrow will relax the muscles that pull down and the frontalis will be better at lifting your brows. Wrinkles caused the 5 muscles which pull down also relax! So, it is a win-win.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question. When a small amount of Botox is injected at the lateral end of the brow it elevates the brow 2-3mm. This is also known as a chemical brow lift. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector to discuss your concerns and desires. Best of Luck!
Thanks for your question – injecting a small amount of Botox at the tails of the eyebrows can give, when done by expert injectors, a wonderful contour to the eyebrows themselves. We have been doing this to make this natural shape for many years and we do hope that you have these injections performed in the offices of a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who understand the anatomy of the areas the best and who best can guide you on what to expect when different areas of the face are injected.
Botox should never be placed under the eyebrow as you will definitely get Ptosis. Botox lateral to the eyebrows will produce a lift and arch. see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon
Thank you for your question. A small amount of Botox placed at the lateral end of the brow can produce an aesthetically pleasing brow elevation of 2-3 mm. Please be sure to see an expert injector for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan. Hope this helps and best wishes!
Under the eyebrows, botox lifts the eyebrows. remember it has to be placed carefully to not create a drooping eyelid
Injecting a small superficial dose, or doses, ofneurotoxin at the lower margin of the eyebrow or within itsbody will weaken the upper part of circular muscle surrounding eye eye.It is exctly that part that lowers yourmid- and lateral brow under normal conditions. Since it is nowweakened by Botox, the oposing muscle begins to dominate and elevatesthe brow. The muscle you weakened is calledOrbicuaris Oculi and, in addition to lowering your brow, it is responsible for crow's feet. The oposing muscle that elevates yourbrow is Frontalis, the same muscle that creates our horizontal lineson the forehead.
Botox under the brow can help achieve slight eyebrow elevation in the descending mature brow (unless the frontal forehead muscle is also weakened with Botox). It's important to have this done by an injector who understands brow shape and muscle dynamics to provide the best outcomes
Thank you for your question. Botox under the eyebrow will result is a slight brow lift. It will elevate the brow and at the same time it will help reduce the appearance of excess skin above the upper eye lid. I hope this help. All the best,
The Botox brow lift can elevate the brows 1-2mm but will not change the size of a forehead. The function of Botox is to relax muscles and help reduce fine lines.
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. Botox is used to relax facial muscles and help reduce wrinkles. However, it seems like you will benefit from the use of fillers. I recommend you see an expert injector to determine the best treatment plan for you. All the best!
Thank you for your question. It is unusual to have a fever after Botox injections. This is more likely related to your oral surgery. If this persists, please see your primary care physician for an evaluation. Best of Luck!
