I really want to do this procedure but am very worried about the fat getting firm, hard or lumpy as described in informed consent forms. How often does this happen and what can be done about it if it does happen? Having hard lumpy breasts would not be good.

Hello and thank you for your question! In short, neither is "better" or "worse" in an absolute sense, but there are better/worse candidates for each operation. Compared to fat, implants don't require additional surgical sites (to harvest "donor fat via liposuction), they are more "predictable"...
I would not hesitate to recommend a breast lift with liposuction of the front bra rolls (side breast fat removal). This will dramatically change the shape and proportion of your breasts with maximal lifting and tightening. Unlikely that you will need fat transfer . . . Thanks for sharing.
