Can I get a lift without implants?

You can certainly take your implants out and have a lift- if you choose to do so. I'm attaching a link to a breast lift surgery to help you understand the scar placement, etc.

Thank you for your question.  Without photos of you before to demonstrate the amount of breast tissue you have, it is difficult to say what you breasts will exactly look like after an explant.  If you have the implants removed there will be a void and it is likely that your breasts will look saggy and deflated.  However, your best resource for information regarding how you should proceed will be with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Without an in person exam, it is literally impossible to say. And even with one, it might be hard to tell how much natural breast tissue you have. In which case, I would probably recommend removing the implant. And then scheduling a lift surgery for a later date. Sorry that you are unhappy with your results. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Obtain a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area. They can evaluate you and discuss options for treatment. Your implants can be removed and breasts lifted at surgery. Spend time with the surgeon to get an idea of what your breasts should look like afterwards as well as the location of the scars needed for surgery.

Thank you for your questions and photograph, and I am sorry that your results have not been what you anticipated.  Assuming you find your pre-augmented breast size acceptable, it is possible to have your implants removed and a breast lift performed to restore an attractive breast size and shape.  It is important for you to have an in-depth discussion with your plastic surgeon so that you can be made aware of the possible incisions that will be needed to achieve your lift.  

Hi jujube37.  You can remove your implants and do a lift, adjust the areola sizes and make both breasts closer in size. A few things to consider before proceeding: removing the implants will reduce the upper and inner cleavage that you have, and reduce the firmness of the breasts.  The lift will add a vertical scar from the areola to the inframammary fold (where the breast meets the tummy).  If either are not acceptable, talk to your plastic surgeon (should be ABPS certified) about exchanging the implants for new ones, reducing the implant volume and projection.   Good luck!

From the photographs it is difficult to know which would be the best option for you.  Certainly you can remove the implants first and consider a secondary lift later.  Sometimes you will get some correction without a lift due to the natural elasticity and contraction of the skin over time.  This may also be the safer option with less potential for healing problems but would necessitate a second procedure.  Best of luck.  

It is very difficult to tell how much natural breast tissue you have. and whether removing the implant alone would be enough.   Often it is best to remove the implants first and then stage the lift at a later time if you need it. An exam in person would be helpful.
