Two days ago I had a syringe of Restylane injected into my tear troughs and perhaps I'm being paranoid but in addition to the bruising and swelling I was expecting with this procedure, I'm getting these odd dents in my cheeks under the spots that were filled when I smile. I think I'd feel better if I knew A) if it might eventually resolve itself as the swelling goes down and I just need to be patient or B) if it isn't going to resolve itself, if there was some kind of solution to implement.

Answer: Restylane under eyes After just 2 days there is still some settling that needs to occur so give it at least another week to see what it looks like and then if there is uneveness or lumps contact your doctor to see if anything needs to be done

Answer: Restylane Tear Trough Treatment Dear lhartel, Two days post treatment for tear troughs is too early to asses final results as well as potential problems The immediate reaction of the surrounding tissues with swelling, busing and overall irritation will distort the area and be confusing as far as final results are concerned. Depending on the type of Restylane product that was used in your treatment you will see better integration in the tissue or not. I recommend that you wait for a full week and reach out to your physician that performed the treatment for a follow up appointment should you need any other correction to the treated area.
