Is this bruising normal after a reduction? (photos)

Thank you for your pictures.  Your breast shape is good and the bruising is normal in my opinion.  The bruising should start to resolve about 10 -14 days after surgery.  If you have concerns regarding this please revisit with your plastic surgeon

Most patients usually have at least modest bruising. Heavy bruising should be checked out by your surgeon to make certain there is not a deep hematoma. From the photograph I don't see anything that is particularly alarming but don't be modest about calling the surgeon's office for an examination.

Advise is limited without an examination.  After a few days swelling will start to subside and the bruising will become more visible.  Looking at the color change it seems that your bruising is resolving.  Best to see your surgeon for a examination. Your bruising looks very typical for 6 days after a breast reduction. The firmness and approximate sizes of the breasts are also important when checking for a hematoma. If you have concerns you should be examined by your physician or a provider in the practice.

Looking at the pictures it appears the bruising seems to be resolving and should improve with time.  However, it is always best to see your plastic surgeon for them to evaluate. Best of luck to you!

6 days postop, it seems as though the bruising is resolving. Without an examination in person, it is a bit difficult to tell. Make sure you see your plastic surgeon on a timely basis.
