I am 4 weeks post op. My dr was very rushed at the 2 min long 3 week appt & just told me to buy silicone strips from his private office for the scars. The nurses asked me if I was massaging my scars, they told me I probably should, but didn't explain Do I run my finger along the incision with a bit of pressure? Is it supposed tobe painful? I tried and at some points it felt similar to when a pimple pops, only underneath the skin. Is that breaking up scar tissue? How often should I massage them?
