Rhinoplasty in 2017 left my nose a little numb with a white patch. Is my nose deformed? Thoughts? (photos)

I had rhinoseptoplasty on feb 2017. My nose is still little bit numb. Look abnormal to me. Now i have developed a white patch on the middle. All the comments are welcome Thank you so much

Thank you for your question.Your nose can certainly be improved with a revision rhinoplasty. This is, however, a more complicated procedure and should be undertaken by a skilled revision rhinoplasty surgeon. Iam not sure about the white patch. Did you have a steroid injection, which can cause this. It could also be an unrelated skin problem. Please discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All The Best !

Does the skin feel hard in this area? It may represent some scar tissue from your trauma or rhinoplasty. I would see your surgeon for possible kenalog injection to help soften it. Even noses that are a "little bit numb" will continue to improve over time. Yes, we do see patients years out that do not have sensation at all, but the fact that you have a partial paresthesia (numbness) is a good predictor that the entire nasal sensation will return.
